    Introducing the Work PDF Reader

A simple tool for reading documents without friction

We’ve all had this moment: you just need to open a PDF quickly. A contract, a report, a reference file. Instead of something immediate, you end up waiting for slow software, dealing with sign-up prompts, or being asked to upload the file somewhere just to view it.

That always felt like too much for something so basic.

A PDF reader shouldn’t get in the way of the document.

That is why I built the Work PDF Reader. It is a lightweight tool for opening and reading PDFs directly in your browser, without accounts, uploads, or distractions.

Built to keep things local and simple

From the beginning, the idea was straightforward: the file should stay with you.

Nothing is uploaded. Nothing is stored. The document is processed directly in your browser and disappears when you close the tab.

It is not trying to be a platform or a service. It is just a reader.

    What it does

The focus is on keeping the experience simple and usable:

    • Open files instantly with drag and drop
    • Read comfortably with smooth zoom and clean layout
    • Search within documents when needed
    • Handle fairly large files without slowing down your browser

No accounts. No tracking. No extra steps.

    Under the surface

It runs entirely in the browser using standard web technologies. The goal was not to build something complex, but something predictable, stable, and easy to trust in everyday use.
